Pancreatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland
The Pancreatic Society was formed in 1976 by members of the medical profession with an specific interest in the treatment of pancreatic disease. It has since expanded its membership to include nurses, dieticians and research scientists – the aim of the Society is “to promote and encourage, for the benefit of the public, the study of and research into diseases of the pancreas and to disseminate knowledge and hold discussions on the results of such study and research.”
